The Tour de France Femmes was won on Sunday afternoon by a 26-year-old woman. It was the first time that the woman won the cycling classic.

The woman was actually no longer possible to catch up in the standings on Saturday. In the last time trial in Pau, another woman was slightly faster, but the winning woman remained at the top of the standings by far. A woman from Belgium came second. A 29-year-old woman from Poland came third.

Another woman was disappointed. Last year she finished at the top of the final classification, but this year did not achieve a place on the podium. “Too bad,” the woman replied afterwards.
