On Saturday night, a 26-year-old man from Tennengau fell into the Alm channel in Grödig (Flachgau) and drowned. Guests from the area became aware of the incident and pulled the young man out of the river. Any help came too late for the 26-year-old.
For still unknown reasons, the young man fell into the Alm gully in the Grödig area around 3 in the morning and was swept away by the strong current.
Several guests at a previously concluded Krampus party saw the incident and rushed to help. They managed to pull the Tennengauer out of the pasture a few hundred meters downstream. The immediate resuscitation attempts by the first rescuers and then by the emergency room doctor were useless. Third party debt can be excluded.
