More than two dozen vehicles were stolen this week from a dealership located in Queens, New York, in the second major robbery of luxury cars in less than a month, according to data provided by police to various New York media outlets .
The thieves allegedly took about 26 cars from the Carsiri Queens agency, located on Queens Boulevrd, after the business closed its doors Sunday night, according to the New York Post.
The workers realized the absence of the means the next day when they returned to their workplace. According to police, the thieves broke into the dealership’s office, where they stole the keys to each of the vehicles they took.
According to The Post, this event occurred about three weeks after an agency also located in Queens reported theft of about 20 high-end vehicles such as Audis, Mercedes-Benz and BMWs.
The police are on the trail of the thieves and try to investigate if they are responsible for both robberies.
