Another 259 people were confirmed infected with the coronavir virus in Lithuania last day, and two deaths caused by Covid-19 were registered, the Statistics Department announced on Tuesday.
The proportion of 2728 analyzes and positive tests performed last day was 9.5%.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Lithuania, 8,663,049 analyzes have been performed and 1,058,779 infections have been detected.
A total of 9,108 people died in Lithuania with Covid-19.
There are currently 357 Covid-19 patients in hospitals, 30 of whom are receiving intensive care.
According to the Department of Statistics, the 14-day cumulative number of infections per 100,000 population in Lithuania has decreased to 306.1.
A total of 1,950,664 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Lithuania, of whom 1,874,628 have completed the primary vaccination course. 928,700 people were vaccinated.
