255 took part in the Triathlon des Roses

The second edition of the Triathlon des Roses in Nanteson this Sunday October 20, 2024, brought together 255 participants. This event raised €57,436.

To date, €624,204 has been collected in all editions of the Triathlon des Roses. This challenge of sport and solidarity has been announced as the Great National Cause of 2024. Sunday 20 October was already the 11th edition of the Triathlon des Roses, which took place this year in seven cities in France. In Nantes, initiation was given at the Léo Lagrange swimming pool on Gloriette Island, in the center of the city.

The participants were able to push their limits and take on the three emblematic disciplines of triathlon, namely swimming, cycling and running, in the heart of Nantes. A great sport and solidarity challenge organized by the ARC Foundation for Cancer Research and the Nantes Triathlon Club, and in partnership with the Pays de la Loire Triathlon League and the City of Nantes, as part of Pink October.

The goal? Raise awareness, spread the word, but also raise money to advance breast cancer research.
