25,000 Expats Deported from Kuwait: Crackdown Intensifies

Kuwait City – The number of people being deported from Kuwait is increasing. More than 25,000 people, including Indians, were deported in seven and a half months. 10,000 of them are women. On average, more than 100 people are deported every day.

The Department of Immigration and Residency requested the deportation of the largest number of people. It is also indicated that the number of people deported this time is due to the trade and use of illegal drugs.

It is estimated that at least 40,000 people will be arrested and deported by the end of the year. As part of this, border security has been tightened.
