Faced with all these elements, this man was to appear on Wednesday in the Assize Court. He will never be able to defend himself in front of the judges, hospitalized a few days earlier.

Maître Cabannes questions the fairness of the interrogations. It must be said that Bruno A immediately confessed to the authorities that he had killed Danielle Beauné in 2019. In this way, the trace of another suspect was immediately excluded. Maître Nicolle, the suspect’s other lawyer, defended his client on this matter. Under pressure from the authorities, he would plead guilty and make up a whole story. A confession “that doesn’t hold up from start to finish and shows my client was lying”according to the lawyer.
Bruno A.’s private life is also back on the table. According to relatives of him, the suspect had a painful childhood.
