25 N219 aircraft are selling well in China

Jakarta

PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) has agreed to collaborate with Linkfield Technologies to sell 25 N219 aircraft at The Aero Asia 2023. The aircraft will be equipped with a certain configuration tailored to the operational needs of the end user.

A total of 5 units for end users Bandung Airlines Co. Ltd, an aviation company in China, and 20 units for leasing companies in China.

This agreement was marked by the signing of a Letter of Intent (LoI) signed by the Director of Commerce, Technology & Development of PTDI Moh. Arif Faisal and Director of Linkfield Technologies Patrick Goh, witnessed by Deputy President Commissioner of PTDI, Bonar Halomoan Hutagaol at the PTDI booth.

Patrick Goh said that The Aero Asia 2023 is an extraordinary opportunity for both parties, where various Indonesian proud aircraft products will be exhibited, especially the N219.

“For the last 50 years everyone has been trying to build big planes for routes from big cities and internationally, but they forget that we still have connectivity problems for people who live in rural areas, they are not yet developed and there are access problems, there are no trains, highways, unless you have an aircraft like the N219, which can then increase economic development in rural areas,” explained Patrick Goh in a written statement, Friday (24/11/2023).

PTDI and Linkfield Technologies previously agreed to collaborate on October 19 2023. Linkfield Technologies will act as a reseller to carry out marketing and sales activities for PTDI production aircraft, such as the CN235-220, NC212i and N219, to meet the needs of military and commercial aircraft in China. .

This collaboration is a form of PTDI’s commitment to not only present a figure in the aviation industry at the global level, but also bring in foreign exchange and multiplier economic effects.

“It is an extraordinary thing for PTDI to be able to work together with Linkfield Technologies and agree on a plan to sell 25 units of N219 in the export market, which will certainly boost the strength and presence of our products in the Chinese market,” said Moh. Arif Faisal, Director of Commerce, Technology & Development PTDI.

“The N219 is an aircraft designed and developed entirely by Indonesian engineers and I am sure we are all proud to say that this event marks an important milestone for the N219 entering the global market,” he added.

At this event, PTDI displayed aircraft models CN235, NC212i and N219 – PTDI’s newest products, which have obtained a Type Certificate (TC) issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia.

The N219 aircraft is designed to create connectivity and open accessibility, especially in remote and rural areas, not only in Indonesia, but also in countries with similar interests which can be used as solution providers to open accessibility, equal distribution of cargo, medical evacuation, and national defense.

Apart from that, PTDI also presents the N219 Cockpit Demonstrator which can provide an immersive experience and make flying accessible to anyone attending The Aero Asia 2023. The N219 Cockpit Demonstrator is a replica of the N219 aircraft cockpit which is equipped with the latest aeronautical technology.
