25 kilograms of cocaine from Belgium detained in St. Petersburg

The employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, FSB and FCS detained in the Big Port of St. Petersburg a consignment of cocaine, which was transported on a ship that arrived from Belgium. About it reports Irina Volk, official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The vessel transported trucks (50 units). Packages of white powder were in the cockpit of one of them. The examination showed that the substance is cocaine. In total, they tried to import 25 kg of the drug into Russia.

Now the issue of initiating a criminal case is being decided. It is noted that the operation was carried out thanks to a timely message from Belgian law enforcement officers.
