A total of 25 companies have submitted to the tender for the contract carried out by the Linares (Jan) City Council for the demolition of warehouse C of the Santana Business Park. The amount of the tender is worth 977,895 euros and the execution period is six months.
With this demolition, as indicated by the Linares City Council to Europa Press, it is intended to provide suitable industrial land for the Santana Business Park through the execution of the demolition object of the contract and subsequent construction of new warehouses.
The intervention proposal in the Santana Business Park contemplates acting on 31,982 square meters and will be carried out in two phases. In the first phase, in addition to the demolition of warehouse C, the demolition of the disused annexes of warehouses E and F will be carried out, as well as the adaptation and improvement of buildings AC and W, among other actions. This phase requires a global investment of 1.36 million euros.
In the second phase, the most outstanding actions are considered the construction of 500-square-meter modular warehouses on an area of 14,600 square meters for new companies and a service center with an area of close to 2,000 square meters, which will house administrative activities, of restoration and that will serve as a common center and support for the entire park, the remodeling of warehouse E and the conditioning of warehouse F, as well as urbanization works. This second phase requires an investment of 5.01 million euros.
Following the request to the Junta de Andaluca of the Linares City Council, submitted in mid-October 2022, to extend the execution period of the two phases by one year –initially scheduled for 2022 and 2023–, phase 1 must be completed. at the end of 2023, and phase 2, in the year 2024.
This project seeks to achieve a greater diversity of activities that can be implemented in the park, generate industrial land and build modular warehouses adapted to the current needs of industrial and technological sectors. It is about having the spaces for the development of new productive activities that help to revitalize the business park and the city of Linares.
