NEW YORK.- A 24-year-old girl was fatally shot after an argument with two other women in Tremont, police authorities said.
The incident took place around 11:30 pm at 422 East 178th St., with the victim found outside a building with a gunshot wound to the face, as confirmed by local police.
The victim, identified as Lashawn Andrews, 24, a resident of the Bronx, was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where she was unfortunately pronounced deceased.
After the shooting, the alleged perpetrators fled the scene, confirmed police sources. So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

Fighting should be a last resort: If you are facing the gunslinger, be as aggressive as possible against the gunslinger. Recruit others to ambush the gunman with chairs, scissors, books, etc. Prepare to seriously or fatally injure the gunman. Throw objects and improvise weapons to distract and disarm the gunman.

Hide, if escape is not possible: Get out of sight of the shooter and keep quiet. Silence all electronic devices and make sure they don’t vibrate.
