Cyber attacks: all concerned!
In a desire to open up to the public, CEIFAC, a university training center for investigators and judges of the European Union in the fight against organized crime and the CCN, a space at the University of Strasbourg dedicated to discovery, to digital awareness and training, propose to tackle at the end of the year the theme of raising the general public’s awareness of the risks of the digital world.
Two round tables will be proposed for this purpose. The first round table will focus on awareness, prevention and assistance to the population. Various actors will intervene (associations, representatives of the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg, etc.) and will deal with aspects related to the importance of raising public awareness with a view to arousing and cultivating active and effective vigilance by all and particularly by small and medium-sized enterprises in the exploitation of digital tools. The second round table will present a more judicial approach to the subject by proposing to address different types of attacks and scams as well as means of preventing such acts. Finally, a time for discussion with all the experts will be offered to the public.
