24 Goals Again, Sergio Ramos!

Madrid

Sergio Ramos has reached 100 goals in Real Madrid. He needs 24 more goals to level his tally with the Madrid center-back legend, Fernando Hierro.

Wednesday (4/11/2020) early morning WIB yesterday, Sergio Ramos contributed one goal in victory Real Madrid over Inter Milan 3-2 in the Champions League continued. The goal was very special for him.

Sergio Ramos, the center-back and captain of Real Madrid, has now recorded 100 goals at Real Madrid, since defending Los Blancos in 2005. Ramos has been diligent in scoring goals.

The 34-year-old has been in charge of executing penalties (since Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure to Juventus in 2018). Ramos can also score goals from free kicks, plus he is good at fighting top balls.

In a note Transfermarkt, Sergio Ramos is on the list of Real Madrid’s top 20 scorers. Sergio Ramos has already surpassed Roberto Carlos (70 goals), Guti (77 goals), and equalized striker Fernando Morientes’ goals (100 goals).

In the order of 10 Real Madrid’s top scorer, aka right at number 10, there is a Real Madrid legend who also plays as a center back. She is Fernando Hierro which recorded 124 goals!

Fernando Hierro defended Real Madrid from 1989 to 2003. Hierro scored 124 goals in 587 appearances.

Meanwhile, Sergio Ramos has scored 100 goals in 659 appearances.

The 2020/2021 season is still long. Sergio Ramos still have the opportunity to add to his goal coffers.

Even so, Sergio Ramos’ contract will expire in June next summer. If you want to equal or even exceed Fernando Hierro’s goal record, Ramos looks like he will have to last longer at Real Madrid.
