2,300 km driving alone; Mammootty travels the Australian route; Behind the times Mammut Auto | Help | Entertainment news

“If you want to be a chauffeur, you should be Mammootty’s chauffeur. Do not accept any work. Sit in the back seat. The old man will drive the car…’ This is one of the comments about Mammootty. The incident is real. His passion for cars and driving is known. Now footage of Mammootty driving 2,300km in Australia is going viral. The journey was from Sydney to Canberra and from there to Melbourne and on to Tasmania. Mammootty was the full time driver on this trip.

I’ve heard that Mammooka often gets angry when he sees other people breaking the law while driving. But perhaps because travelers in Australia are not like ours, Mammooka never got mad. He, on the other hand, hummed, he was happy to see the rain, he remembered his college days and joked a lot. We are three. Mammooka’s soul mate Rajasekaran, Mrs Sulfat, and me.’ Robert, who heads Mammootty’s philanthropic efforts, noted.

The note reads:

A quote from a previous article on Mammooka that stuck with me. The text in it, prepared while traveling with Mammooka, was: ‘Kalame…. Mammootty is the one driving the car calling me Pimpe…’ On this trip through the Australian road, I had the same Mammooka next to me and Kala behind of him. From Sydney to Canberra. From there to Melbourne and then to Tasmania.

Mamooka was driving very calmly through the meadows and huge trees. It has been heard that Mammooka often gets angry when he sees others breaking the rules while driving. But perhaps because travelers in Australia are not like ours, Mammooka never got mad. He, on the other hand, hummed, was happy to see the rain, remembered his college days and joked a lot. We are three. Rajasekharan, Mammooka’s best friend, Mrs Sulphath and me.

Mammooka has spearheaded the two coasts of Tasmania, an island state larger than Kerala. Hobart to Launceston, thence via Swansea, Port Arthur and back to Hobart. Not tired, Mammooka drove the car enthusiastically every mile. Mammooka toured Tasmania in two days in Roshit’s brand new car registration number ‘DON007’, the total distance covered by Mammooka on the first leg of his visit to Australia was 2,300km!

Another miracle. Mammooka knew the traffic rules here better than me who have been driving in Australia for 10 years. Meanwhile we discussed some traffic laws. Mammooka didn’t give up. Finally, sitting in the car, I called an experienced Tasmanian Department of Transport officer (Sunil Nair) to clarify my doubts. Mammooka was right. Kiran James was in Sydney to present the locations, Madanan Chellappan in Melbourne for the Great Ocean Drive and Kiran Jaya Prakash for the Coastal Drive including Phillip Island. But Mammooka has become a full Australian resident making them all spectators. So some good days, good times, scenes where I struggled to believe it wasn’t a movie rolling before my eyes.. Thank God and time.. and my beloved Mammooka who made me a companion..
