A 23-year-old girl needed to be assisted, after going into cardiopulmonary arrest, at the end of a trip to the sea.
The situation happened last Thursday, at Praia do Forno, in Vila do Conde.
As soon as the victim fell inanimate on the beach, she was immediately assisted by lifeguards, who began immediate life support maneuvers. Later, to this rescue operation, a VMER was added – Emergency Medical Vehicle and Resuscitation.
The young woman, after stabilization, was transported to a hospital in serious condition.
