Emptying the account of people with a stolen EC card and a stolen PIN is mean. An even worse scam is tricking bank customers into believing the ATM didn’t give out any cash — and then pocketing it yourself. For this scam, a man from Dortmund, who had also “worked” in the Paderborn district, has now been behind bars for almost four years.
