The infected are from various municipalities in Eastern Norway. According to municipal chief physician Anders Brabrand, it is likely that they have been infected at the campsite in Gausdal municipality in the Inland.
– It is not unlikely that one or more of the Easter guests at Skei Caravan were already infected when they traveled upwards. The reason why many of them were diagnosed with infection after they returned home, may be several, and so far we have no documentation, he says to Gudbrandsdølen Dagningen.
– In such places, people are often very social and socialize more than those they live with in the carriage. But as I said, we do not know the reason why so many were infected, he continues.

The general manager of Skei Caravan, Marie Louise Lørken, tells the newspaper that they have followed all current rules and recommendations. They have now, at the request of the municipality, sent out SMSs to all caravan owners who were at the campsite this Easter.
– What was it like to be told that so many of the Easter guests had been infected with corona?
– It is never nice to receive such messages even if this could have happened almost anywhere where there are many people.
As of Thursday evening, 42 people have been registered infected in Gausdal municipality, shows the overview to the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH). Before Easter, the municipality encouraged its websites residents and the journeys to “make this year’s Easter an outdoor Easter”, and keep a good distance from each other.
