23.5 billion dirhams in DEWA’s revenue within 9 months

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) received a total revenue of 23.5 billion dirhams in the first nine months of this year.
According to a press release published today, the total profits before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, that is, before deductions, amounted to 11.8 billion dirhams, and net profits, after taxes, amounted to 5.5 billion dirhams, in the nine months.
His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, said that the increase in the authority’s income in the first nine months of 2024, by 6.2% to 23.5 billion dirhams, and the increase in profits before deductions by 4.7% to 11.8 billion dirhams, reflecting the growth seen by Emirate of Dubai, and confirms the Authority’s commitment to operational excellence, innovation and sustainability.
In the third quarter of this year, Dubai United Electricity and Water Authority’s revenue increased by 4.75% to 9.9 billion dirhams, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization in the same period came to 5.1 billion dirhams, and cash flows. increase from operations 34.20% to reach 5.9 billion dirhams.
The authority’s total energy production increased to 19.6 terawatt hours in the third quarter of 2024, an increase of 3.98%, compared to the same period in 2023.
