22nd Session of Ras Al Khaimah Holy Quran Award Welcomes New Muslim Participants for Male and Female Competitions

The activities of the New Muslims Competition of the Ras Al Khaimah Holy Quran Award began in its 22nd session, where the female competition was held last Friday, and the male competition will be held next Saturday at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in the emirate.

According to the award administration, the participants included 48 male and female contestants who were new Muslims, competing in two branches of the award. Ahmed Mohammed Al Shehhi, Director General of the Ras Al Khaimah Foundation for the Holy Qur’an and its Sciences, said that the participation of new Muslims in the award comes as a translation of the values ​​of tolerance, coexistence and nurturing talents, and contributes to the involvement of this group in society to present an enlightening image of the tolerance of the Islamic religion and its moderate values.

He pointed out that the current session of the award has witnessed an increase in the number of new Muslim participants in various branches, males and females, of all ages, so that the award will be a bright field for competition, creativity and excellence.

Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Subayan Al-Taniji, Secretary-General of the Award and Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee, confirmed that the Award is constantly keen to provide participation opportunities for new Muslims of all nationalities, embrace their talents, and promote the values ​​of moderation, moderation, and care for the Holy Qur’an among this segment.
