Morocco / Covid19: 221 cases, 301 healings and 4 deaths in 24 hours
In Morocco, 221 new cases of infection with the coronavirus (Covid-19), 301 cures and 4 deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours, announced Sunday evening the Ministry of Health.
This new assessment brings to 17,236 the number of contaminations since the first case reported in March, to 14,921 the number of people fully recovered, representing a cure rate of 86.6%, and to 273 that of deaths, representing a fatality rate. 1.6%.
Regarding the distribution of new cases by region:
-76 were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region;
-62 in that of Fès-Meknès;
-49 in that of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima;
-18 in that of Marrakech-Safi;
-5 in the Oriental region;
-4 in that of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra;
-3 in that of Guelmim-Oued Noun;
-2 in the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra region;
-1 in the region of Drâa-Tafilalet;
-and 1 also also in the Souss-Massa region;
The Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab and Béni Mellal-Khénifra regions did not record any new cases.
