Last year, the most purchased goods in the “220.lv” online store were toys, household goods and small household appliances, according to the information gathered by the company.
In total, last year, in the “220.lv” online store, in 2023, more than 200,000 toys, more than 175,000 household goods and almost 138,000 small household appliances were sold.
The data shows that in the category of toys and games, buyers spent an average of 18 euros per purchase last year, in the category of garden products, purchases with an average price of 25 euros prevailed, in the category of perfumery, the average purchase amount was approximately 150 euros, while in the category of smart devices, the average purchase cost 153 euros.
“220.lv Marketplace” sales manager Kārlis Ozols states that last year, similarly to previous years, seasonal goods were most in demand. The most active sales in 2023 took place in January and in the pre-Christmas period – November and December, when people bought gifts.
Also, Ozols mentions that in 2023, it has been observed that buyers in Latvia are increasingly paying attention to the quality and price of goods, for example, choosing goods of more recognizable brands and manufacturers, which was traditionally more characteristic of the population in Estonia.
