A 29-year-old man was indicted for drug trafficking in Chartres (Eure-et-Loir). After nearly seven months of investigation, police discovered 220 kilograms of cannabis resin hidden in a car. The suspect, unemployed but with a comfortable lifestyle, claimed to have been ambushed.

Arrested with more than 200 kilos of cannabis, Nicolas assures us that he was ambushed. This 29-year-old man was indicted at the end of October in Chartres for drug trafficking before being imprisoned. Originally from Dreux, he is suspected of being involved in a vast trafficking in cannabis resin which supplied the west of France.

It was last April that investigators from the Dreux judicial police service took an interest in a group of young individuals who imported resin from Morocco, to supply the cities of the great west of France. “The officials will first be interested in a Volkswagen Tiguan which was used by a previous team dismantled by the officials of the police station”, underlines a source close to the case. The police equip the 4X4 with a beacon and place microphones inside. Between December 2020 and July 2021, the car travels in Indre-et-Loire, Orne and Sarthe to deliver drugs.

The drugs concealed under the back floor of the car

On October 21, a certain Kilian went to the Paris region to stock up on board a Peugeot Partner. At 7:50 p.m., the investigators in the hideout found the van parked on the road from Paris to Cherisy. They see the arrival of an Audi S3. Nicolas gets out of the car and the police intervene. The German sedan fled at more than 200 km / h towards the Paris region and could not be caught by the police. They search the Peugeot and discover 220 kg of cannabis resin, hidden in a cache, installed under the rear floor which opens with a remote control, housed in the cigarette lighter.

Nicolas is arrested and taken into custody in the premises of the PJ. He assures us that he has fallen into an ambush. He had been asked to move this car without knowing what was in it.
