Three young people in a Seat car, chased by a police vehicle in the streets of Arnouville (Val-d’Oise) before finding themselves faced with a civil servant who takes out his service weapon, Tuesday October 17, 2023. A crazy scene, filmed by one of the occupants of the Peugeot, which was posted at the end of the week on X (formerly Twitter).
In the images, we see the driver run at high speed, the screen-printed police vehicle, flashing lights and siren on, chasing after him. “It’s not stopping,” says the passenger seated in the back seat, phone in hand to film the car chase.
According to our information, it started around noon. The police officers spotted the Seat vehicle and ordered the driver to stop in order to check the three occupants for a reason which was not specified. But the latter has refused to comply et ran away.
He takes out his service weapon and points it at the car
While the fugitives find themselves cornered by a police car which blocks their way on avenue Pierre-Lizart, two members of the police come up to them. One of them having took out his service weaponhe tries to open the driver’s door without success, before taking his pistol with both hands which he points in the direction of the motorist without however opening fire.
“Charo, they’re going to shoot my face,” shouts one of the occupants of the Peugeot before repeating “charo, they’re going to shoot brother” and storming off. “Wallah, a joke,” says the author of the video, having added this message as an inlay: “That was going to make a Nahel there”. A message referring to theteenager killed during a police check after refusing to comply in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine).
One arrested
After abandoning the vehicle a little further away and fleeing on foot, pursued by the police, one of the individuals was caught and arrested in the garden of a pavilion whose gate he had climbed over. Aged 22, he was taken into police custody.
