22 people have been killed as a result of devastating floods in Bosnia

At least 22 people died in dangerous floods and landslides that destroyed towns across the country and wreaked havoc in the Balkan country, officials in Bosnia and Herzegovina said.

The main transport infrastructure linking central and southern Bosnia was severely damaged, and massive floods inundated businesses and homes, sweeping away livestock.

Damage estimates are preliminary, as rescuers are still searching for survivors from the area around the heavily damaged southern towns of Konec and Jablanica.
