At least 22 people were injured in a car accident in the Romanian city of Braila, Agerpres news agency reported.
According to the regional inspectorate for emergency situations, a 47-year-old Bulgarian citizen, who was driving a bus carrying 72 Moldovan citizens, crashed into a minibus trailer parked on the side of the road. The van’s hazard lights are on.
22 passengers with fractures and injuries were taken by ambulances to hospitals in Braila and Jalomitsa counties.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are being clarified, pre-trial proceedings have been initiated.
