The Minister of State, Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, proceeded to the official installation of the national organizing committee of the 21st edition of the National Bobo Culture Week 2024. It was at the house of culture Mgr Anselme Titianma Sanon yesterday Tuesday March 5, 2024.
It is an organizing committee with 21 commissions, chaired by Fidèle Aymar Tamini, Secretary General of the Ministry of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, and with Christiane Sanou Director General of the SNC as vice-president , which was installed today March 5, 2024. Led by a president and a vice-president, all 28 commissions aim to do everything possible for the success of this 21st edition scheduled from April 27 to May 4, 2024 in Bobo-Dioulasso under the theme “Culture, historical memory and patriotic surge for a new Burkina”. “This morning’s ceremony officially marks the effective start of the activities of the National Organizing Committee of the cultural biennial, SNC Bobo 2024. Allow me to express our gratitude to the highest authorities of our country through our Minister of supervision for the efforts made to meet the challenge of organizing this edition despite the difficult context to the great happiness of the population of Sya,” said Christiane CMNE Sanon/Coulibaly, General Director of the SNC. Still according to her, “we are asking all Burkinabè people to help us so that the 21st edition is more successful than last year, because the guest country of honor told us that they will come with a large delegation and many people told us that they will come to the SNC.”
“I would like to be able to count on your dynamism”
Before proceeding with the official installation of the organizing committee, Minister of State Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo congratulated and encouraged his members for the choice made by them, while inviting them to work without discounts. “I would like to be able to count on your dynamism, your professionalism and your sense of management to lead this NOC in order to achieve a successful organization of this edition of the SNC… However, the SNC being the cultural showcase of our country, I would like to emphasize that nothing should be done on the cheap. Each of you was chosen based on your proven skills and expertise in different fields. I have no doubt that each of you will put the best of yourself into accomplishing the missions assigned to the various commissions. I urge you to spare no effort to make Bobo 2024 an exceptional edition.”
