District Museum Floridsdorf open on March 6th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m
Vienna (OTS/RK) – A well-attended special exhibition in the Floridsdorf District Museum (21st, Prager Straße 33, Mautner Schlössl) is coming to an end: the informative show entitled “Cinema, Theater, Varieté in Floridsdorf”. The museum is open on the day between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Admission is free. The voluntary museum team (director: Ferdinand Lesmeister) is happy to accept donations from visitors. Family Fun: “The Funny Kitchen Fairies”
The audience is asked to comply with the current Corona regulations. In the show “Cinema, Theater, Varieté in Floridsdorf” photographs, posters, admission tickets, program notes, an antiquated projector and other exhibits can be seen. For example, at the time, the film “The Daughter of the Jungle” was shown in the “Poppenwimmer Cinema”. At the colorful “Family Evening” in a coffee house, performances such as “The Jealous Shoemaker”, “The Funny Kitchen Fairies” and “A Rough Cure” were on the program.
