Chairman of the committee 212 reunion, Eka Jaya said that his party officially moved the location of the 212 Reunion centering from the Arjuna Wiwaha Horse Statue, Central Jakarta to the Az-Zikra Mosque, Sentul, Bogor on December 2, 2021.
The decision was conveyed by Eka after the committee did not get permission from the authorities to hold the 212 Reunion in the Monas area and at the Horse Statue, Jakarta.
“God willing, it’s true, because we didn’t get permission to hold a title at Monas and the Horse Statue from the Regional Police,” said Eka to Indonesia CNNIndonesia.com, Monday (29/11).
There has been no official statement from Azzikra regarding the plan to move the location of the 212 reunion center. CNNIndonesia.com still able to contact Azzikra’s manager, until this news is revealed.
In his official statement, Eka said that the 2021 212 Reunion Committee had worked hard to take care of the licensing for the 212 Reunion venue, namely at the Monas Square and at the Horse Statue Roundabout. He has also communicated with various parties regarding the plan.
He then decided that the implementation of the 212 Year Reunion would be held in a limited manner by implementing the Health Protocol at the Az Zikra Sentul Mosque.
“At the same time pray together for the late Ust. Ameer Azzikra, son of the late KH M Arifin Ilham and broadcast virtual and live streaming,” he said.
Eka also appealed to Alumni 212 in various regions to organize the same event. One of them is by putting forward the characteristics of 212 and strict health protocols.
He also appealed and instructed all 212 Alumni to take humanitarian action.
“Such as distributing food packages, house renovation, cleaning places of worship, cleaning rivers, free medical treatment and so on,” said Eka.
