The Baltimore Fire Department reported via Twitter that the explosion caused a partial collapse of the roof of the building. As of 11:45 in the morning, 21 wounded have been sent to the local hospital, and two others have refused to be sent to the hospital. At present, at least 9 people are in critical condition, and one injured is in serious condition.
It is reported that the explosion occurred on the 16th floor, where the offices of the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company are located. The fire department said that the cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
