21 injured, two of them critically

According to France Bleu, the bus fell six meters. There were a total of 46 people in the vehicle. 40 of them are primary school children, between 6 and 10 years old.

The bus had left this morning from the Alps, where the group had stayed for a week. The occupants themselves come from Sceaux (Hauts-de-Seine). The intention was to drive to Grenoble station, where they would then take the train to Paris.

According to some French media, the driver fainted. Ninety firefighters and a Civil Protection helicopter have arrived on the scene. The students who escaped unscathed will be accommodated in a gymnasium for the time being.
