According to the social authorities, 207 new corona cases were registered in Hamburg on Wednesday. That is 68 new infections less than on Wednesday a week ago, but 50 more than on Tuesday.
According to the social authorities, a total of 90,167 people in Hamburg have tested positive for the corona virus since the beginning of the pandemic. According to estimates by the RKI, around 83,900 people in Hamburg can now be considered recovered.
The incidence value drops below 60
The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days fell from 63 on Tuesday to 59.4 on Wednesday. A week ago the incidence value was 76.5.
121 corona patients in the hospital
As of Tuesday, 121 corona patients are being treated in Hamburg’s hospitals. 45 of them are treated in intensive care units. According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), a total of 1,702 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic.
