2050 are the new cases of Covid-19 for the last 24 hours, 70 lost their lives

There are 5,201 patients in the hospital, and 462 people are in intensive care units

In the last 24 hours, 2,050 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Bulgaria, it is clear from the data in the Unified Information Portal. 10 percent of the tests performed over 21 thousand are positive. Over 85% of the cases of the day are of people who have not been vaccinated.

The total number of people infected with coronavirus in Bulgaria is already 502,162.

The statistics for the day by districts: Blagoevgrad – 98 new cases, Burgas – 125, Varna – 152, Veliko Tarnovo – 60, Vidin – 34, Vratsa – 45, Gabrovo – 67, Dobrich – 62, Kardzhali – 8, Kyustendil – 54, Lovech – 31, Montana – 68, Pazardzhik – 35, Pernik – 32, Pleven – 22, Plovdiv – 158, Razgrad – 19, Ruse – 51, Silistra – 17, Sliven – 96, Smolyan – 12, Sofia-city – 497, Sofia -region – 72, Stara Zagora – 83, Targovishte – 32, Haskovo – 43, Shumen – 31, Yambol – 46.

70 people died. Over 92% of them have not been vaccinated.

1541 were healed. 5201 patients were hospitalized, of which 462 were in intensive care units. 525 are newcomers to hospitals. More than 90% of them have not been vaccinated.

For the last 24 hours, the total number of vaccine doses is 8914. The Ministry of Health is launching a campaign to promote immunization against COVID. 102 smartwatches will be drawn by lot among those vaccinated in October. The rules are published on the website coronavirus.bg
