ABIDJAN- The African football confederation drew lots for the African zone qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup on Thursday. Concerned by this draw like all the other African selections, Guinea knows the teams with which it will be opposed in its band. And the Syli fell into Pool G alongside Algeria, Botswana, Uganda, Mozambique and Somalia.
After ten matches for each selection in the nine groups, the first of each group will be directly qualified for the next world championship in 2026 and the four best runners-up will compete in a mini championship at the end of which the winner will compete in the intercontinental play-offs.
