Super Club World Cup will take place between June 15th and July 13th in 2025
The 2024 season has not yet started, but Flamengo already has commitments scheduled for 2025. This is because FIFA has released the dates of the Super Club World Cup, a tournament played with 32 teams and in which Rubro-Negro is even classified.
FIFA confirmed that the Club Super World Cup will take place from June 15th to July 13th, 2025. Furthermore, the international tournament will be held in the United States and will feature 32 teams competing, thus including teams that are champions of continental tournaments. Finally, there will also be a classification via the ranking of each entity. In Brazil, Flamengo, Palmeiras and Fluminense have guaranteed places.

FORMAT AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE 32 VACANCIES
The 32 classified teams will be divided into eight groups of four teams. This way, the winner of each bracket advances to the quarterfinals. Finally, the knockout phase of the Super World Cup begins until the two finalists are defined.
Furthermore, the 32 places will be distributed with 12 places for Europe, six for South America and four for Asia. Finally, four will be for Africa, four for North America and the Caribbean, one for Oceania and one for the host country, which in this case will be the United States.
BEFORE THAT…
Before preparing for the 2025 Club Super World Cup, however, Flamengo has commitments for the 2024 season. This is because the red and black squad will reappear on January 8th, starting at 2pm (Brasília time), at the Center of Urubu’s Nest Training. On that occasion, coach Tite will begin activities focusing on the Carioca Championship and the pre-season.
