2024 U-23 Asian Cup Qualification: Indonesia in Group K with Tough Opponent

In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Thursday (25/5/2023), the draw for the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup qualifying group took place. Indonesia will be one of the hosts in the qualifying tournament which will take place in Qatar next year.

The draw results put Indonesia in Group K. Garuda Muda Squad with Taiwan and Turkmenistan. The last team occupied pot 1 in the draw, which could be a difficult opponent for the Red-White team in the qualifying matches.

In Group H, there are three ASEAN representatives. Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines will compete with Bangladesh. Meanwhile, Vietnam and Singapore are in Group C, along with Yemen and Guam.

This qualification will screen 16 teams that will qualify for the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup. One place is certain for Qatar as the host.
