2024 Toyota Yaris: Technical Innovations and Upgrades | iAuto.lv

Toyota has made improvements to the 2024 Yaris model. The appearance of the car has remained practically unchanged, but there are enough technical innovations.

The 2024 Yaris looks the same as the model currently on sale, and to recognize the new one, you should pay attention to the combination with the Neptun Blue body color and the black roof, as well as the wheel rims, which are now in a new five-spoke design.

For the basic version, the engine is left unchanged. It’s a 116bhp hybrid unit that combines a three-cylinder 1.5-litre petrol engine with a 59kW electric motor, but for those who want a bit more speed, there’s now also a 130bhp (185Nm) hybrid unit available from the Style trim onwards, while the Premiere For Edition or GR Sport buyers, this unit is already standard.

In the cabin, only digital gauges will be used – for the basic version, a 7-inch display, for the more expensive versions – a 12.3-inch format, while screens with 9 and 10.5-inch sizes are available for the multimedia equipment. Media will now be able to be updated over the Internet.

Among the safety systems, the new generation Safety Sense system should be noted, which warns the driver of the risk of an accident and, if necessary, intervenes with braking and steering impulses, while another innovation is the digital key (extra charge), which can be shared by up to five vehicle users via a smartphone app .

The modernized Yaris is expected to go on sale from 2024. Prices are not disclosed, so we remind you that in the German market it starts at 22,990 euros. All-wheel drive Yaris GR with a 261 hp engine will cost 34,000 euros.
