The Immunization area of the Health Secretariat of the Municipality of La Banda begins a vaccination campaign so that all school-age children have the complete National Vaccination Calendar. In this way they will be able to access the 2024 school year by meeting one of the main requirements.

Children between 5 and 6 years old must have three fundamental vaccines: the Sabin (against poliomyelitis), the Triple Viral (protection against measles, rubella and mumps), and the Triple Bacterial (which addresses diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough). .
At 11 years of age, a series of essential vaccines are recommended, including the Acellular Triple Bacterial, Hepatitis B, and the Triple Viral.
For preteens, the importance of receiving the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine to prevent cervical cancer is highlighted.
