That the premiere of the facelifted Volkswagen Golf is approaching is also indicated by one shot from the official video of the car company, in which it looked back at the end of 2023. At the end of the video, a view of the illuminated front of the newly modernized Golf appears for a moment.
And even if the first picture of the expected news doesn’t show that much, it reveals and reveals several interesting details – especially regarding the solution of headlights and lighting.
On the trailer, we can see a redesigned light signature, which includes new main headlights with “graphics” inspired by electric models from the ID family, a distinctive LED strip above the narrow radiator grille and, above all, the new illuminated Volkswagen logo.
We will have to wait for further official information about the new features of the modernized Volkswagen Golf. The premiere will take place in 2024, we would even guess its first months.
In addition to modified front parts, according to the available information, the facelift is mainly expected to change the interior, which should look better and more valuable. A larger infotainment display will also be added to the dashboard, and Volkswagen will certainly expand the range of driving assistants.
The rejuvenated Golf will continue to be available as a five-door hatchback and a more practical station wagon, minor changes may occur in the range of power units.
The current generation, the eighth in total, is also, by the way, the last version of the Golf with combustion engines. The next version, which should arrive in 2028, will already be exclusively a battery electric car built on the new SSP platform of the concern.
