From Wednesday, August 28 to September 8, the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games will take place and so that the whole world can follow these great athletes, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and YouTube have signed an alliance to offer unprecedented coverage.
The entire Paralympic day will be available for free through the official Paralympics Games channel, from the opening ceremony and the competitions to the closing ceremony, with almost 1,400 hours of live events, replays and exclusive content.
“By partnering with YouTube for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, we will maximise the global reach of the most transformative sporting event on this planet, attracting new audiences to the performances of Paralympic athletes,” said Mike Peters, IPC CEO.
During this Paralympic event, the IPC will also share daily event clips on the platform and produce 400 short and 40 feature films about Paralympic athletes.

In addition, the Multiview feature will be available for the first time worldwide, allowing viewers to watch up to four events simultaneously. This feature had only been used in the United States during the NFL season.
The content of this competition will be available for free in 175 global markets, including Mexico.
This partnership between the IPC and YouTube will make the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games the most accessible in history.
