“2024 NFL Mock Draft: Arizona Cardinals’ Potential Haul Revealed”

The 2024 NFL Draft is fast approaching, and football fans are eagerly awaiting to see which young talents will be joining their favorite teams. For the Arizona Cardinals, this draft could be a game-changer, as they have the opportunity to secure some promising players. In a recent post-Super Bowl 2024 NFL Mock Draft by Trevor Sikkema of PFF, the potential haul for the Cardinals has been revealed, and it looks quite promising.

At the fourth overall pick, Sikkema predicts that the Cardinals will select Marvin Harrison Jr., a wide receiver from Ohio State. While this pick is not set in stone, Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort is known for his willingness to maneuver within the top 10. With all three quarterbacks already off the board, Harrison Jr. seems like the best player available and could be a valuable addition to the team.

Moving down the draft order, Sikkema suggests that at the 27th pick, the Cardinals should consider Nate Wiggins, a cornerback from Clemson. Wiggins is highly regarded as one of the top cover corners in this draft class. Although his lack of playweight might deter some teams, the Cardinals should not overlook his potential impact as a CB1. Adding a talented cornerback like Wiggins would greatly strengthen their defense.

Continuing with their focus on building a solid foundation, Sikkema proposes that at the 35th pick, the Cardinals should target Kingsley Suamataia, an offensive tackle from BYU. By adding Suamataia to their roster, the Cardinals would be securing a potential starter along the offensive line. Pairing him with a talented wide receiver like Harrison Jr. would create an ideal combination for their offense.

While Sikkema’s mock draft provides a great starting point, there is always room for adjustments and improvements. In hindsight, Sikkema suggests an alternative scenario where the Cardinals select Darius Robinson, a defensive end from Missouri, at the 27th pick. Robinson’s presence would add depth and strength to their defensive line. Additionally, Sikkema proposes selecting Ennis Rakestraw, another cornerback from Missouri, at the 35th pick. Rakestraw’s skills would complement Wiggins and further solidify the Cardinals’ secondary.

To round out this alternative scenario, Sikkema suggests considering Cooper Beebe or Jeremiah Trotter at the 71st pick. Both players would bring valuable contributions to the team, with Beebe adding depth to the wide receiver position and Trotter bolstering the linebacker corps.

While Sikkema acknowledges the strength of his original mock draft, he believes that the inclusion of Robinson and Rakestraw would be a significant upgrade for the Cardinals. These additions would provide the team with a formidable defense and a well-rounded roster.

As the NFL Combine approaches and free agency rumors swirl, it’s essential for the Cardinals to carefully consider their options and make strategic choices in the upcoming draft. With the potential haul outlined by Sikkema, the Cardinals have an exciting opportunity to strengthen their team and make a splash in the 2024 NFL season.
