2024 MotoGP Schedule: Indonesian MotoGP Moves Earlier and Expands to 18 Different Countries

Dorna Sports as the MotoGP organizer has released the 2024 season racing calendar. The Indonesian MotoGP event is progressing earlier than this year. Qatar will again be the opening series next season. The following is the 2024 MotoGP schedule.

Currently there are still seven series left to close the 2023 season. The racers are scheduled to test in Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Qatar and Valencia. However, Dorna Sport has released the 2024 MotoGP schedule.

In the press release, for now, MotoGP 2024 will have 22 races and 18 different countries. The race will start at the Losail International Circuit, Qatar on March 8 – March 10 2024.

The second race took place at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, Portugal. After that, the racers must fly to Argentina on April 5-7 2024.

Racing on the European continent has only started since the Spanish series on April 26-28 2024. After that, the racers flew to France, Catalonia and Italy.

Interestingly, Kazakhstan is still included in the racing calendar, the circuit is planned to hold its first MotoGP race on 14-16 June 2024. However, its status still has to wait for homologation.

After Kazakhstan, the racers still have to race on the blue continent until the half-season break. These include the Netherlands, Germany, England and Austria.

The second half of the season will start in the Aragon MotoGP session, and then move to the San Marino MotoGP on September 8 2024.

Racing in the Asian region will start with the Indian MotoGP on 20-22 September 2024. In less than one week, racers must arrive in Mandalika, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.

The Indonesian MotoGP at the Mandalika Circuit will be held in September, aka the 17th MotoGP 2024 series. In other words, the race in Indonesia will be held on September 27-29 or will be moved forward compared to this year.

After leaving Indonesia, the racers will fly to Japan, Australia, Thailand and Malaysia. MotoGP 2024 will then close in Valencia on 15-17 November 2024.

10. Dutch GP – TT Circuit Assen: 28-30 June 2024
11. German GP – Sachsenring: 5-7 Juli 2024
12. British GP – Silverstone Circuit: 2-4 Agusutus 2024
13. Austrian GP – Red Bull Ring Spielberg: 16-18 Agustus 2024
14. Aragon GP – Motorland Aragon: 30 August – 1 September 2024
