The National Electoral Institute (INE) of Mexico has extended the registration period so that Mexican citizens residing abroad can participate in the elections.
Next February 25th is the deadline for all Mexicans who want to process their voter credentials and participate in the 2024 elections.
The National Electoral Institute (INE) reported that those people who want to process it for the first time or replace it, have until that day to do so.
The Mexican Consulate in New York is located at 27 E 39th Street in Manhattan.
Abroad, several locations have been set up where Mexicans will be able to cast their vote on June 2. In addition to New York, some of the cities included in this list are Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Madrid, Montreal, San Francisco and Washington DC
It is expected that this extension of the registration period will facilitate the process for those who wish to exercise their right to vote from outside the country.
