The countdown is only a few more months. The biggest gala in the fashion world, the 2024 Met Gala, is about to begin. On the morning of Monday, May 6, 2024, after previously announcing the theme of the annual exhibition as ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion’, and this has recently made fashion people double excited. When the names of the 4 Co-Chairs were announced that would be the highlight of the event along with Anna Wintour, those 4 people were Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez and Bad Bunny, who came with a dress-up theme. ‘The Garden of Time’ which created even more excitement among fashion people. Look forward to seeing the total looks of celebrities on the red carpet on the day of the event.
As for the exhibition titled ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion’, it is not connected to Disney’s Sleeping Beauty characters in any way. But the theme of the Met Next year’s gala means Legendary fashion pieces from history that are too fragile to ever be worn again and long dormant at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The 2024 Met Gala exhibition will feature more than 250 of those historic works, selected from the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s permanent collection. Litan From pieces made in the 17th century during the Golden Age of Queen Elizabeth I, to Christian Dior’s most iconic gowns like the Junon and Venus, and many more, it will reflect the history of More than 400 years of the fashion industry
