The review of the financial sector presents the loan index for 2024 and the vision for the development of the index until 2030.
FNA says that lending is an essential support for sustainable national and business growth, as well as irreplaceable support for households. The lending environment shows both the ability of the banking sector to offer financial means for the growth of the national economy, as well as the ability and willingness of borrowers to borrow.
The event includes a presentation of the current data of the loan register and a discussion with experts in the financial sector “Crediting today and vision 2030”.
Minister of Finance Arvils Āšeradens (JV), Minister of Climate and Energy Kaspars Melnis (ZZS), member of the Board of the Bank of Latvia Kristīne Černaja-Mežmale, representative of the FNA Sustainability Working Group, Nora Pastore, Head of Sustainability at “Signet Bidh Banca” and ESG and Sustainability at “KPMG” participating in the discussion, head of consulting services Ilze Garoza.
The event will be held on May 15 at 11 am in the “Zeiss” office complex, Dēļu street 2, Riga.
Until now, FNA has produced estimates of lending opportunities each year, but this year for the first time it will look into the future to describe what the lending environment will look like in 2030, when the first mid-term assessment is conducted. the European Green Course is expected.
