After the coronation of América in the Apertura 2023, the Liga BBVA MX has already announced the calendar for its next tournament, the Clausura 2024, which begins on January 12 with the inaugural match Querétaro and Toluca.
This is how the path of the First Division of Mexican soccer will be launched and will conclude at the end of May with the Liguilla dispute and the title match.
When does Closing 2024 start?
The Clausura 2024 of the BBVA MX League will begin next Friday, January 12 from the Corregidora Stadium.
Unlike other occasions, in that semester there will only be one mandatory break per FIFA date, which will run from March 18 to 28 and in which the Mexican National Team will play the Semifinals of the Concacaf Nations League against Panama.
Among the most important dates, the National Classic between Chivas and América will be played on March 16 at the Perla Tapatia. The new Play-In format that was adopted for the second half of 2023, in which seventh to tenth place will play for the last two places in Liguilla, will be maintained in Clausura 2024, being played between May 2 and 5. After that, the so-called Big Party of the MX League will begin starting on Wednesday, May 8.
What date will the 2024 Liga MX Clausura Final be?
The calendar has agreed that the First Leg Final will be played on Thursday, May 23, 2024, while the Second Leg Final will be three days later, that is, on Sunday, May 26.
