Formula 1 has announced the calendar for the 2024 F1 World Championship as approved by the FIA World Motor Sport Council. The calendar will have 24 races, starting with the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 2nd and ending with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on December 8th. F1 has made clear its intention to further regionalize its calendar, reduce logistical burdens and make the season more sustainable.
As a result, the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship calendar will allow for better racing flow in certain regions by back-to-back with the Japanese Grand Prix in April, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in September and the Qatar Grand Prix back-to-back with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
