Voting or voting 2024 Election carried out at the Polling Place (TPS). This national agenda will be held simultaneously on February 14 2024 and is designated as a national holiday.
So, what to bring to the polling station during the 2024 election? The following information is based on the official announcement from the Indonesian General Election Commission (KPU).
There are a number of files or documents that voters must bring when they want to vote at the TPS. What files are meant? Here are the details.
1. Voters on the Permanent Voter List (DPT):
- Electronic KTP or certificate (Suket)
- Notification model C form – KPU
2. Voters in the Additional Voter List (DPTb):
- Electronic KTP or certificate (suket)
- Model A letter moving vote
3. Voters on the Special Voter List (DPK)
- Electronic KTP or certificate (suket).
Please note, Form C Notification will be distributed to voters no later than three days before voting day or a maximum of February 11, 2024.
How to Check 2024 Election Polling Stations
Voters who have been officially registered on the Permanent Voter List (DPT) can check the TPS for where to vote on February 14 2024. Follow the steps below.
- Open the site https://cekdptonline.kpu.go.id/
- Enter your NIK or Passport Number for Overseas Voters
- After that, voter data will appear, such as TPS number, voter name, NIK, NKK, district, sub-district, sub-district, and potential TPS address.
- If the data is not registered, a warning will be written ‘Your data has not been registered!’. Voters will be asked to contact the nearest KPU office to ensure their personal data is in the DPT.
What time do polling stations open?
Voting at TPS according to Article 4 PKPU Number 3 of 2019 is carried out from 07.00 to 13.00 local time. Following are the details of the 2024 election voting schedule.
- Day, date: Wednesday, February 14, 2024
- Time: 07.00 – 13.00 local time
- Location: TPS of each region.
How many days will the 2024 election holiday be?
The 2024 election holiday schedule is stated in Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 10 of 2024 concerning Voting Day for the 2024 General Election as a National Holiday. Based on the Presidential Decree, the 2024 election holiday will only be one day, namely February 14 2024.
