Vice presidential candidate number 1 Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin attended the Munajat of the Nahdliyin Islamic Boarding School Ulama Council throughout West Java entitled istighotsah kubro 1,111 kiai at the Sutan Raja Hotel, Soreang, Bandung Regency. The Munajat contains statements of attitudes and edicts from kiai in West Java.
Monitoring detikcom at the location, Wednesday (7/2/2024), Cak Imin was seen wearing a white shirt and black cap. Cak Imin’s arrival was greeted by the sounds of a warm welcome.
The kiai declared their stance on the election and the condition of the Indonesian nation. Representatives of a number of kiai symbolically read out the position statements and announcements.
This statement of attitude and announcement was followed by all the kiai who attended the event. The istighotsah announcement from 1,111 kiai expressed support for the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 1 Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin (AMIN).
The West Java kiai information also contains a reminder to use the right to vote in the 2024 Presidential Election. The placard containing the attitude statement and the information was received directly by Cak Imin.
The reading of the West Javanese kiai attitude statement was read by KH Abu Bakar from Pondok Pesantren Al Masthuriyah. Meanwhile, the Information was read by KH Busyri Muslim from the Al-Burdah Boarding School Foundation.
“If the people of West Java say Gus tong hariwang keeng, don’t worry, the kiai will not let Gus Muhaimin fight alone,” said KH Abu Bakar.
KH Abu Bakar said kiai throughout West Java wholeheartedly support Anies-Cak Imin in the 2024 presidential election. He also asked Cak Imin not to worry.
“We wholeheartedly support and will encourage it in accordance with our duties and responsibilities,” he said.

We, the Islamic students and kiai, observe, observe and pay attention to the current condition of the nation in a worrying condition, especially in the context of upholding the constitution and democracy.
