The Middle School and Vocational Training Office of the Canton of Zurich is committed to middle schools, vocational schools, providers of vocational preparation years and training companies in the interests of youth and the economy. For the 2024/2025 school year starting on August 1, 2024, there is another internship position to be filled in the secondary school and vocational training office.
Your area of responsibility
During your internship year, you will gain an insight into various areas of responsibility at the secondary school and vocational training office. The activities range from recording, checking and modifying apprenticeship contract data to providing telephone information, for example to learners, training companies, secondary and vocational schools. You will also help with accounting work in the area of qualification procedures. Another possible job is in the development department, where you work on various projects and campaigns and thus get to know the marketing area of the MBA. You will also provide support with postal and telephone services or create presentations. You will gain insight into other specialist areas depending on the situation in order to experience cantonal administration.
your profile
You are in HMS training and are interested in commercial work in cantonal administration. You have good spoken and written knowledge of German, are IT-savvy and are experienced in using Microsoft Office programs. You think in a solution-oriented manner, have a quick comprehension and enjoy working independently as well as in a team. In customer discussions, you score points with your calm and self-confident manner. You will also impress with your well-groomed appearance and open, friendly and pleasant manners.
