2023 Youth Film Week (Zhejiang) opens, hundreds of filmmakers gather in Hangzhou to talk about films
On May 16, the 2023 Youth Film Week (Zhejiang) opened in Hangzhou. The theme of this year’s Film Week is “Let young people realize their film dreams”, which aims to focus on promoting the high-quality development of Zhejiang films and contribute Zhejiang’s strength to the construction of a strong film country.
As a special part of the opening ceremony, actors Jia Bing, Tao Huimin and Wu Jinyan jointly brought you “Good Movies in “Zhejiang””. “Film and TV Ecology”, “Film Market” and “Youth Film Week”, each actor took a key word and told about their origins with Zhejiang films and their impressions of Zhejiang films.
Over the years, Zhejiang-produced films have insisted on cultivating quality and creating high-quality products. The audience also expressed their support and love for Zhejiang-produced films with movie tickets one by one. This year’s Youth Film Week set up the “Top Ten Zhejiang Films Most Popular with Audiences” selection event. In the end, there were “Send You A Little Red Flower”, “Journey to the West: The Return of the Great Sage”, “Midsummer Future”, “This Killer Is Not So Calm” “Lonely Walking on the Moon”, “Teacher Good”, “Wuhan Day and Night”, “Red Boat”, “I Want Us Together” and “The Last Night on Earth” won honors for 10 works.
The 2023 Youth Film Week (Zhejiang) lasts for a week, and the specific activities include screenings of Chinese and foreign films, young filmmakers welcoming the Asian Games, film theme concerts, opening ceremony and release activities of the film week, release of new films produced in Zhejiang, and venture capital investment of the “Zhejiang New Director Project” , “Qiantang Night” film and television festival and 2022 Zhejiang University Student Film Week Awards Gala and other activities.
